Soccer is a game for 22 people that run around, play the ball and one referee who makes a slew of mistakes and in the end Germany always wins

The Times are reporting this morning that West Ham have offered Freddie Ljungberg £3 million to tear up his contract with the club. The paper claims that he has three years remaining on the four-year contract - which ensures him £3.9 million a year at £75,000 a week.
The Times claim that West Ham could make similar compensation offers to Lucas Neill and Luís Boa Morte, stating that West Ham have been looking for a new right back to replace Neill.
