Villareal coy over Crouch link

Villareal’s General director would not confirm whether a bid for the Liverpool’s Peter Crouch is in the store. It was reported few days ago that Villarreal could be making a swoop for the lanky striker.

They have declined to comment on speculations but hinted that they will be making a move for some players.

“We are working on some names, but we never disclose details in the press,” Llaneza said to Sky Sports.

“In a few weeks we want to complete our squad ahead of a big campaign in Europe. This will be our challenge next season.”
