The Croatian papers claim that Josip Tadic is on the verge of signing for West Ham. Tadic is a 20-year-old striker for Dinamo Zagreb. The player himself says he is flattered by West Ham's interest,

“I don’t know what to say, I'm very surprised. In a positive way of course,” he was quoted as saying in the Croatian press.

“It would be nice to play for the club for which Slaven Bilic and Igor Stimac once played.”
