Corluka happy and relieved over Spurs move

Spurs’ new £8.5m signing Vedran Corluka sounds quite happy after making the move from Manchester City.

The Croatian told The Sun: “It was a big relief because lots of things happened in the last two or three weeks.

“First the club decided to sell me but then they stopped the transfer.

“I didn’t expect that City would let me go. But they did and to a good club, a big club so I am happy.”

He added: “Everything is not just money.

“Tottenham is a great team and we have the squad to get into the Champions League.
