Grant Basey and Chris Dickson both staked claims for first-team starts against Ipswich Town on Saturday by finding the net as a young Charlton reserves defeated their Tottenham Hotspur counterparts 3-1 in a behind-closed-doors friendly on Wednesday afternoon.In wet and windy conditions, Basey took just three minutes to open the scoring at Sparrows Lane when his left-footed free-kick from the right flank flew into the far corner of the net.The 19-year-old left-back, captain for the game, almost added an unlikely second three minutes later, shooting just over the bar from the edge of the box
