Sunderland 1 Arsenal 1: Frustrated by Wenger, frustrated by the FA

ONLY being really anti-social would have allowed me to watch the game live so I’m writing based only on reports and seeing the goals.

With respect to Sunderland, it is absurd that we should need to tear up the usual formation to face them. That Arsene feels ill at ease with Cesc and Denilson on their own in a game like this tells you everything about our lack of depth.

Denilson is not a terrible player, but I can’t think of a single attribute where he is better than Cesc.

That tells you that the pair really do not complement each other at all. Song at least
